New Xbox One headsets can receive chat and stereo direct from the adapter without requiring any additional console connections. Enjoy stereo game audio using any 3.5 mm stereo headset (that uses the CTIA plug standard) by simply connecting to the adapter.

You can easily change the volume of in-game chat without removing your hands from the controller using an Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. Connect it directly to your controller, console or TV to add game audio, and adjust volume levels, the microphone mute control and the balance between game and chat levels.
You'll be able to connect the Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter to the base of your Xbox One wireless controller, and there's a 3.5 mm audio jack to accept your wired headset. A 2.5 mm to 2.5 mm adapter is included so that a stereo Xbox 360 wired headset can work with Xbox One.
