Scan with speed It is simple to start scanning with the ScanSnap iX500 ; simply place your document into the scanner's chute and it will start scanning as soon as you press the button. It can scan up to 50 double-sided A3 to business card sized pages at up to 25 pages per minute. Wonderful wireless The ScanSnap iX-500 boasts both a high speed USB 3.0 port and a WiFi connection. The USB 3.0 port is backward compatible with USB 2.0, so you can use it with almost any PC, and you will be able to scan to wireless devices such as tablets. Using WiFi, you can connect to any of your WiFi-enabled PCs, Macs and tablets using the ScanSnap Connect Application. Scan documents to your devices and take them wherever you go or email them to colleagues. You will also be able to connect to Cloud services such as Evernote, Dropbox and more from your scanner, letting you access your documents at any time. Using WiFi, this scanner also allows you to scan directly to a folder when there is no USB 3.0 connection available. High quality scanning You can be sure of high quality scanned pages thanks to the GI image processing engine in the ScanSnap iX 500 . The dual-core CPU helps your scanner to scan quickly and produce high quality images. Using the ABBYY FineReader technology, you will be able to scan your documents to Excel, Word and Powerpoint applications, which you can then edit to suit your needs.
