The PIXMA MG2450 uses a FINE cartridge system with min. 2pl ink droplets and a print resolution of up to 4800 dpi to bring you outstanding detail levels. Print up to eight monochrome A4 pages and four colour pages to maintain good productivity rates and minimise waiting times.

If you use XL FINE cartridges, you can print more for less money, as they deliver considerably more pages and last longer between ink replacements. They're the best choice if you print often, able to deliver up to 30% savings per page in comparison to similar cartridge models.

All-inclusive software

The My Image Garden software included with the Canon PIXMA MG2450 Printer is a one-stop image package, offering solutions for organising and printing your photos, scanning and accessing online services.

It's equipped with advanced functions such as face recognition, making it easy to search through all the images on your computer – even if you'd forgotten half of the photos you had. You'll be able to use these pictures to create exciting and attractive new printing designs.

Intelligent web printing and energy saving

The Canon PIXMA MG2450 All-in-One Printer offers an Auto Clip function in its Easy-WebPrint EX plugin, which is compatible with Internet Explorer. This function makes it so easy to print only what you want from the web.

Clip selected information from multiple web pages to print on a single sheet or save as a PDF file.

An Auto Power Off facility automatically turns the printer off if it's not used for a certain amount of time, helping conserve energy. The machine is conveniently switched back on when printing commences. There's also a Quiet Mode that minimises operating noise for near-silent home printing.
