Call Guardian

The BT 8500 Cordless Phone incorporates award-winning trueCall call blocking technology to provide Call Guardian, a unique feature that is designed to help you block every unwanted phone call from getting through.

Call Guardian screens any unknown number and asks the caller to give their name before ringing your phone and asking whether you want to receive the call. You can then choose to accept, block or send the call to the answering machine.

Advanced call blocking

Along with being able to block individual and withheld numbers, Advanced Call Blocker lets you block specific area codes, calls from payphones and international numbers.

The Do Not Disturb mode is ideal for when you want some peace and quiet as it doesn't ring or light up when you receive a call. However, any contacts in your phonebook tagged as VIPs can always get through so you're not completely cut off.
