Portable power With an impressive 9000 mAh capacity lithium polymer battery, this convenient and portable charger is capable of powering both 5 V and 12 V devices. This means that not only can it recharge iPhones, smartphones, tablets and GPS devices, but it is also suitable for items such as SLR camera batteries or portable DVD players. Coming with a wide range of adapters, the PMEXT003 allows you to charge an impressively wide range of electrical devices. This includes the iPad 4, which can be powered up via a supplied gorilla pad adapter. If you only have access to a charging cable that is designed to be used in-car, a female in-car socket is also provided for maximum convenience. Versatile voltage A digital readout on the charger provides instant information on the amount of energy left in the device. When depleted, the battery can be re-charged in one of three ways ¿ via the mains, through USB or, if you're away from a regular power source, you can use the supplied solar panel. This versatility makes the Powermonkey Extreme perfect for regular users as well as adventurers and people who like to travel off the beaten path. The charger has very low static wastage, so after one year of non-use it will still hold 75% of its charge and it comes with a whole host of safety features, which include short-circuit protection, overload protection, reverse discharge current protection and low voltage protection.
