With a 24-hour delay timer you can choose the time you want your meal to start cooking, so all you need to do is throw in the ingredients before you leave, and set the timer to cook the food to your liking.
The Keep Warm function is great for keeping food hot once it's done cooking until you're ready to serve it - perfect for days when everyone will want to eat at different times, as it means no one will end up with a cold meal.
