This is enhanced by the Dyson's bagless design and Radial Cyclone technology, for maximised suction power even when the vacuum bin is nearly full. Super steering The Dyson DC40 features a central steering mechanism which allows you to enjoy the benefit of seamless manoeuvrability. Dyson's Ball technology gives the vacuum the ability to turn on the spot, ensuring that it glides across floors and around corners with absolute ease. In addition, the Dyson DC40 Animal has an active base plate that self-adjusts for optimum contact on all floor types. Whether you are cleaning a deep pile bedroom carpet or kitchen laminate flooring, it will receive the same fantastic treatment. The right tools for the job The DC40 sports an impressive range of accessories, such as the Tangle-free Turbine tool. This is the only turbine tool that doesn't tangle and releases hair straight into the bin so you won't end up unknotting hair from the attachment head. The Tangle-free Turbine tool has counter-rotating heads with brushes that remove hair and dirt from carpets and upholstery, flexible heads also bend to maintain contact across uneven surfaces. The heads are positioned so the brushes reach to the front and side of the tool, drawing in hair and dirt from all directions to provide you with maximum cleaning efficiency. Also included is the Flexi crevice tool, ideal for getting rid of grime in difficult to reach areas and hard to clean parts of the house.
