Product information
This adapter delivers Wi-Fi networking to a laptop or desktop PC via the ultra-fast USB 2.0 interface. Based on the 802.11g specification, it transfers data at speeds of up to 54 Mbps.
The DWL-G122 supports WEP and WPA encryption methods and includes a configuration utility to find available wireless networks and show quality/signal strength.
This adapter works with Windows (98SE/2000/ME/XP/VISTA), MAC OS X (from 10.3) and LINUX (via third party drivers).
With the USB cradle - included with the product-, the DWL-G122 can be positioned virtually anywhere to achieve the best available wireless signal reception. No experience is required, simply insert the enclosed CD into your computer and the installation wizard will do the rest.
