The Verbatim USB 3.0 Desktop hard drive features high performance storage using a USB 3.0 "Super Speed" interface. USB 3.0 offers up to 10 times faster data transfer rates than USB 2.0 (based on USB bus speed) providing ultra fast data transfer on the go.
The USB 3.0 Desktop Hard Drive can be supplied with or without a 2 port USB 3.0 PCIe host card, the choice is yours. If your desktop PC does not have a USB 3.0 port, you can install the host card into your PC to provide 2 USB 3.0 ports giving full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds.
