Single-board computing
The Raspberry Pi 2 B is a single-board computer that's designed to teach programming languages like Python and Scratch. There's no age limit and it's perfect for expanding your knowledge and computing ability no matter how old you are.

It's powered by a regular USB phone charger, has four USB ports for peripherals and an HDMI port to connect to your monitor.
Anything stored on the Raspberry Pi is saved on a normal microSD card, including your choice of Linux-based operating system and software loader. This version comes without a memory card or operating system, giving you the option to download and install your choice of OS.

This version of the Raspberry Pi features a quad-core ARM Cortex processor that's six times faster than the older model. It also features and 1 GB of RAM, so it can run more advanced software than other versions.
