The Flex 2 is Fitbit's smallest activity tracker yet. You can wear it throughout the day in comfort and exercise, shower, and sleep without taking it off.

You can even remove the tracker from the supplied silicone band and slot it into different bands, bangles, and pendants (not supplied) to suit any occasion.

Track activity

Throughout the day the Fitbit Flex 2 monitors the steps you take, distance you travel, and the calories you burn throughout the day. This is great for quickly checking whether you've reached specific milestones and what else you need to do to stick to a healthy lifestyle.

If you work in an office or need motivation to keep moving, you'll get reminders on your phone or on your wrist to get up and move throughout the day to make sure you're staying on track.

SmartTrack

SmartTrack automatically identifies when you're exercising and starts to track your performance to give you a breakdown of distance and calories burned specific to that workout.

You don't need to worry about the band when you're swimming, washing up, or relaxing at the beach as it's completely waterproof to 100 metres.

Smartphone alerts

If your phone rings or you get a message, the Flex 2 vibrates and flashes discreet LED lights depending on the type of alert. This is ideal if you keep your phone on silent at work or school but can't afford to miss an important call.

You can also use the vibrating function as a silent alarm to wake you up in the morning without disturbing your family or housemates.

This is controlled using the free Fitbit app, which consolidates all of your activity and sleep data into a single place for easy digestion.
