The fast EXPEED 5 processing engine consistently delivers excellent image quality across the ISO range so fine noise is dramatically reduced.
Extreme AF precision
With a 51-point AF (autofocus) system, you can effortlessly track moving subjects even in low light. The AF system tracks and locks onto your subject, keeping it in focus so you can get the shot you want.
The Advanced Scene Recognition system and 180K-pixel RGB metering sensor work together to capture precise exposures and dynamic compositions – even with smaller or fast-moving subjects.
The highlight-weighted metering system prioritises the brightest elements in the frame, so highlights aren't blown-out in high contrast scenes.
