You can capture sweeping wide-angle landscapes, detailed super-telephoto shots of architecture, and everything in-between using the smooth zoom control on the side of the camera. If you need to re-frame you can quickly zoom out again using the snap-back zoom button.
See clearly
Frame your shots perfectly, even in bright sunlight, thanks to the high-contrast electronic viewfinder. It automatically recognises when you bring the viewfinder to your eye, so you can switch from the screen without pressing any buttons.
It's easy to access menus and change settings thanks to the 3” touchscreen which can also be tilted to make framing easier for high or low angles, or to capture selfies.
Shoot steady
Capture sharp photos, even when you're moving, thanks to Nikon's Vibration Reduction which compensates for camera shake. It even works in low light, so you can carry on shooting indoors and on overcast days without the need for a tripod.
